Getting to take off at Saint Andre Les Alpes

Aerogliss provide a shuttle service which is excellent.  Book yourself in and buy volume tickets to save money.

Share rides if you can. It’s a great ride up but it does cost you gas. 
Make passengers contribute for your generosity or split your vehicles one in the LZ one up at T/O.

The drive up.... expect nutters to be zooming down and do not suddenly veer off.  The rocks are sharp and will shred tyres.

If it weather/wind looks iffy take up a mountain bike with you and our trail maps.  There are some incredible mountain rides down away from the road for all levels  - you will be thrilled that you made the effort. Ask us about this and our hire bikes.

Directions to the St Andre hanglider and paraglider take off - Chalvet launch

1. From Spar supermarket opposite the landing field A in the map - turn right
2. Stay on N202 passing the Monge hotel towards Allos
3. Take the left sign posted Lambuisse and Thoram
4. After the railway bridge prepare to turn sharp left
5. Turn left and follow the road left take the 3rd-4th right where the wood sign say Chavet Decolage
6. Stay on this road to the top of the mountain
7. You will arrive first at the E, ESE, S, SSW, SW take off
8. Carry on and you will arrive at the NW launch area
